The Ghana communications regulator National Communications Authority ‘NCA’ has just released a press announcement publicizing the opening of their new accredited laboratory. The new laboratory is appointed to perform tests against Ghana and International standards covering Radio-IT-Telecommunications-Electronics-Electrical equipment. The NCA will also change their regulations which will mean that applicants wishing to obtain product certification will need to undergo testing in Ghana. Previously FCC-EU reports were accepted and no in-country testing was required. However, this regulation will now change.
